Plans for 2025
Here is an overhead view of the different areas of the property here at Brookshire. For 2025 my main goal is to simply spend more time in the garden, but there are certainly a number of projects that I will be working on as well with an emphasis of curbside appeal and increasing safety in the backyard. The Front Yard The Front Lawn Despite being in my 30's. Keeping grass appropriately cut, watered, weeded, aerated, and fertilized is still a very new concept for me. Doing some maintenance on the lawn mower and sharpening the blades is probably a good start. #1 Vegetable Garden My black thumb has turned to a dark shade of green with about a decade of trying to grow plants. This year I have a wide variety of seeds and a bit more knowledge about my zone and when to get started. Maybe I'll even get to eat a variety of things this year. #2 Year Round Interest Garden My Dad has always wanted fountain grass.
